About Me
I am a Syrian documentary photographer, filmmaker, from the countryside of Hama. Since 2018, I have been developing my practice across photography, cinematography, and film editing, using visual storytelling to document human experiences and explore the connections between people, place, and memory
My creative journey began with photography, which shaped my understanding of observation, composition, and narrative. Building on this foundation through my studies in Cinema Directing, I expanded into documentary filmmaking, focusing on stories that reflect social realities and lived experiences.
My work centers on rural communities, everyday life, and the cultural and social transformations that influence identity and belonging. I have contributed to a range of short films and visual projects as a cinematographer, editor, and director, while my photographic work has been presented in international exhibitions. Through both film and photography, I aim to create authentic and visually engaging narratives that bridge local perspectives with universal human themes
