About Me

I am a Syrian documentary photographer, filmmaker, from the countryside of Hama. Since 2018, I have been developing my practice across photography, cinematography, and film editing, using visual storytelling to document human experiences and explore the connections between people, place, and memory

‏My creative journey began with photography, which shaped my understanding of observation, composition, and narrative. Building on this foundation through my studies in Cinema Directing, I expanded into documentary filmmaking, focusing on stories that reflect social realities and lived experiences.

‏My work centers on rural communities, everyday life, and the cultural and social transformations that influence identity and belonging. I have contributed to a range of short films and visual projects as a cinematographer, editor, and director, while my photographic work has been presented in international exhibitions. Through both film and photography, I aim to create authentic and visually engaging narratives that bridge local perspectives with universal human themes
